I trust in Your divine power to abound all things to me gracefully. Teach me according to Your words in Matthew 5:44, "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you..." I pray for Your anointing on me to exercise patience and self-control to handle those who seek to hurt me. I pray that they will rid themselves of “anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from their lips” (Colossians 3:8). Let Your grace bring my enemies to repentance as You have enlightened us, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God..." I petition that You will be the judge of all the wrongful doing and make my enemies ceased from their action. May they become one of God’s children, holy and dearly loved, clothed with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience (Colossians 3:12). I'm in agreement with what is written in Jonah 4:2 "for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil." Lord, please give my enemies a heart of repentance. Activate Your words in Matthew 6:12 "forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors." I'm most thankful for the price You paid on the cross for my sin. Teach me to obey Your words in Romans 12:19, "avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord." When my enemies refuse and harden their hearts against me, I ask that they receive divine retribution. Lord, please plant the seeds of compassion, kindness, and generosity in my heart, that I may reap Your rewards for me bountifully. Amen!
